Snøfjeldet Lodge, Sons of Norway, is located in Lewistown which is in the center of Montana.
The Lodge was started up again in February 1974 after lying dormant since the 1930's.
There is a small segment of Norwegians and Norwegian descent  people in the community and outlying areas. The sign up of members was over 150 and it was a great initiation and installation of members and officers at the dinner party which was held at YoGo Inn.
Monthly meetings have been held since the start up and the Lodge seems to be holding its own. The membership has declined from the original number, however the enthusiasm among the membership is good, and we try to keep many activities alive and well.
